Welcome to our Sports Academy for Orphans.  We are located in the beautiful Mukuni Village, 6 km from Victoria Falls, or Mosi Oa Tunya (The Smoke that Thunders), one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Why a Sports Academy for Orphans?  The answer is simple: to give our children a chance to train their bodies and minds in order to become leaders of tomorrow and to break the chains of poverty and shame and tell their story to the world.
The most logical reason is also that our children are very naturally talented, possessing the stamina and determination to become great marathon runners, soccer players, tennis players and more.  All we need to do is equip them with the necessary skills and to provide them with a safe environment to develop those skills and natural talents.

Zambia has over 1 million orphans.  Nomad Sports Academy is currently supporting close to 200 with feeding programs, education sponsorship and other needs.
We work closely with the local leadership of King Mukuni, The Lion King of the Zambezi, the direct descendant of King Mukuni the 1st, who welcomed Dr. David Livingstone at Victoria Falls in 1855.  His vision to support his people is incredible and we owe our project to him and his leadership counsel.
We also work with a great organization, The Butterfly Tree www.thebutterflytree.org.uk
which supports the orphans of Zambia at a very large scale, through building of schools, clinics, education sponsorship, anti malaria and HIV programs and much more.

In working together, we see great results in the community and we see children having a sense of pride and fulfillment in their lives.
